This week I was on holiday in Formentera which was such a great time to switch outfits from day to night to match the sea and the sky colors. I was wearing this transparent long slitted tunic that I designed myself and turned it into a sunset dress for the occasion.

I have to say that this idea came to my mind recently as I have always loved designing clothes as I can choose all the details myself and ensure the fit is exactly what I am looking for. This ocean blue dress is truly what I wanted for the summer as I can style it in many ways. It has some transparency which is perfect to wear it on a bikini while going for a lunch on the beach. At the same time it comes with a removable liner that I wear under it whenever I want more opacity such as for the city, for a stroll around and so on. Clothes have a special place in my life as I can express myself through it and feel confident. However, one of the biggest concerned I have always had as a student was purchasing clothes that could fit different occasions and give me different ways to be worn. As a student we often don’t have a huge budget to spend on clothes which is why if we want different options we generally tend to purchase fast-fashion. When I decided to design my own clothes this feature was key for me as I have always thought I should not be the only one thinking this way.
