As in my post on 7 Ways To Boost Your Self-confidence, we talked about the fact that class is coming from self-confidence but not only. We can through these 5 ways add even more class to our appearance in summer.
1. Silk
Silk is an amazing fabric especially for the summer. It is breathable keeping you fresh and it flows well on the body making a look more feminine and thoughtful at the same time. It is definitely the best fabric to opt for evening dresses if you want to look classy and stand out the mass. However, pay attention to always carry with you a steamer as silk must be steamed to look really polished.
2. Linen
As in my previous post, linen is also one of the most amazing and expensive looking fabric for summer season. It is easy to wear, comfortable, keeping you fresh and covered from the sun. I do recommend investing in long linen dress or set depending on your tastes. This will definitely upgrade your looks and avoid you looking like the classic tourist. I do love Italian brands for linen clothes they always provides the best quality at medium pricing. One of my favorite is called ismeralda. However, you can still get good linen clothes from Massimo Dutti but I really recommend investing in small shops if you have the occasion to do so.
The best pat with linen is that even if it is not perfectly steamed it will still make a look expensive as wrinkles always come within the linen fabric.
3. A Hat
A hat is adding instant glamour to a look. On top of that, it keeps you covered from the sun. It is definitely a good investment to make. Maison Michel or Borsalino are a bit on the pricier side but they have gorgeous hats you cannot go wrong with. However, the good news with hats is that if you’re on a budget, getting a nice hat does not require a big investment and any nice hat at lower price can clearly make the deal to elevate your looks.
4. Sunglasses
Every woman need to own a good pair of sunglasses for days when the sun gets out. A nice pair of sunglasses is a must to elevate your look. It will make you look glamour and mysterious at the same time by hiding your eyes behind it. When it comes to sunglasses, I advice to buy a good pair even if it is on the pricier side because cheap models won’t be of the same classy appearance and quality. It won’t protect your eyes from the sun lights and you will end up getting a new pair every year.
5. A Summer Basket
Us, woman, we always carry a bag with all the things we need with us and summer is the time where we instead opt for basket instead of leather bag at least during the day. This is the reason why every lady need a good beach basket to carry during the day. A good summer basket is definitely adding class and elegance to a lady If you pay attention to these two points: the size and the quality. A summer basket needs to be of a size that aligns with your body shape and be adapted to the activities you are doing. If you are going to the beach you might need a bigger beach basket whereas if you’re simply going for a lunch you can opt for a smaller one. For what regards the quality of the basket, I recommend raffia basket or simply a linen bag. You don’t need to invest a lot of money in a luxurious beach basket.
